There is an amazing downtown art district with many local artists selling there crafts. The marina sells catch of the day and believe me it doesn't get any fresher. The people are friendly so go, relax, have fun, enjoy.

Head to Sylvan’s bait and tackle shop to get an all-day pass to the park’s fisher pier. Ocean commodities like flounder, Darum and trout are usually caught off the park’s pier.

Stewart Beach is one of Galveston’s finest beaches, one of the top ones to visit for families with young children. To enter the beach, you have to pay the parking fee, which changes depending on whether you come on a weekday or weekend.

Even with its small size, this beach doesn’t feel crowded and frenzied. Most of the time, the beach has no crowds, and you can indulge in a tranquil escape, sitting under the sun, building sandcastles or listening to the waves.

Location is fabulous. Extremely friendly and courteous onsite owner and/or manager. The cottage concept is much more relaxing than any hotel. Although the cottages are old, they were very inviting and comfortable.

The only negative is No showers or Ausschuss Rooms  This is not for everyone but if u like the nude feeling then it a great place no bother u people are very nice water is clean

There are 25 access points to the South Padre Island City Beach, and each has something different, so you will want to research those before planning a day by the water. Some have restrooms, paved parking, or bike racks, whereas others are more primitive, with only a small boardwalk to the beach.

We were there for almost the whole day entire and stayed until after sunset… really put a damper on the whole experience knowing there’s thief’s lurking around!!
